Who Am I?

Welcome to my website dedicated to cure SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth).
My name is Anthony, I’m french and like many people, from all over the world, I’ve experienced intestinal issues. For a long time, I have “accepted” gas, bloating, stomach pain and more. For me, I thought that is it was normal, that everybody had those reactions.

Then, in early 2019, skin problems such as seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea appeared. After that, I began to develop food intolerances. I had to eliminate several foods from my diet otherwise I could expose myself to severe pain and bloating. My digestive symptoms then worsened, and this time I was experiencing more intense pain even when I wasn’t eating anything. In the morning, I would sometimes feel very tired as soon as I woke up and experience pain without eating anything until noon!

No matter what I did, whether I ate in the morning (healthily or not), whether I fasted since 8 pm the day before, I always felt, at best, discomfort or gas, and at worst, I was doubled up in bed with no recourse to relieve my pain.

All of this affected me to the point of putting my social life aside: going out for a drink, going to a restaurant, to the gym, sitting through a meeting lasting several hours at work, etc. were challenges to face on a daily basis.

About my background

Initially relying on allopathic medicine, I’ve started by consulting my primary care physician, who referred me to a gastroenterologist. He told me he hadn’t found anything abnormal and suggested the pain was “in my head” or that was probably due to stress. So I’ve decided not to let it go and consulted a second gastroenterologist. The latter told me I simply needed to avoid eating whatever was causing my stomach pain. He suggested I follow the low-FODMAP (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, and Polyols) diet. This diet, often recommended by gastroenterologists, some nutritionists, and even naturopaths, helped improve my symptoms without making them disappear.

That’s when I’ve started doing some research of my own. During this research, I learned that the much-recommended low-FODMAP diet was actually a harmful long-term solution because it impoverish the intestinal flora and promote the development of nutritional deficiencies.

When I found out about SIBO…

I have searched extensively for information related to digestive problems, gas, and bloating on Internet and social media but there was anything and everything.

One day, I’ve found a TikTok video about a french book where the author was talking about SIBO disease and symptoms. It was the first time that I’ve ever heard about it. So, I have read the book and finally could put a word on my disease!

From that moment, I deepened my research about SIBO and, as it is not as popular in France than it is in USA or Canada, I didn’t find anything or very little information in French. Thus, I’ve extended my research to English contents. I’ve  watched YouTube videos, read medical articles, listened podcats cross-checking all my sources each time to find all the necessary information (why do I have SIBO? How can I cure SIBO? etc.).

… To when I’ve decided to help people

I wanted to share all this knowledge to help the millions of people who, like me, are struggling from digestive disorders. So I’ve created a TikTok account and shared information (in French) on social media about SIBO: my diet, my treatment, my tips, my experiences, etc.
Several people sent me direct messages or used comments to ask for some advices or simply for thanking me to have sharing my experiences.

It made me so happy to feel that I was helping those people who did not have the information or any medical help to feel better.

I’ve finally managed to healed from SIBO! But it took me a lot of time, money and effort. It wasn’t easy everyday and I wish I had a professional help who could support me during my moments of doubt and when I needed support.

Finally, in order to have all the knowledge to help people curing their SIBO, I’ve followed a complete training course about SIBO.

About my philosophy

Today, despite our longer lifespans, staying healthy is a real challenge. So-called “diseases of civilization” are becoming increasingly common and reflect a growing imbalance.

Our balance is constantly threatened by several factors, including an increasingly polluted environment and an increasingly processed diet.

In addition, a sedentary lifestyle, a lack of physical activity, insufficient sun exposure, harmful substance, etc. are not helping us. All of this creates a “cocktail effect” that impacts our bodies daily, putting them under severe strain.

    Hippocrate

Ancient Greek physician and philosopher (377 BC)

Let Food Be Thy Medicine and Medicine Be Thy Food

Adopting healthy nutritional principles and an appropriate lifestyle represents a powerful lever for healing and prevention.
While it’s not possible to avoid all these attacks, it is possible to limit their effects and impacts on our bodies through adopting certain habits.

I genuinely think that our food can prevent us from main diseases. Thus, if needed, I can give you some advices to have a better and healthier life.
